Eva L. And Joseph M. Bruening Foundation (Cuyahoga County)
SUMMARY: The Distribution Committee gives priority to grant requests that address one of the Foundation’s four inter-related program areas: (1) poverty, (2) education, (3) physical and mental disabilities and (4) aging.
ELIGIBILITY: Grants are limited to non-profit organizations based within Cuyahoga County. Rare exceptions may be made, on a case-by-case basis, for organizations headquartered outside the county that maintain facilities within the county and serve the residents of Cuyahoga county.
DEADLINES: March 1, July 1 and October 1 are deadlines for review by the board.

The GAR Foundation (Summit, Cuyahoga, Medina, Portage, Stark and Wayne Counties)
SUMMARY: The GAR Foundation grants funding in the following areas: education, health and social services, civic enhancement, and arts & culture.
ELIGIBILITY: Generally, the Foundation considers applications only from organizations in Summit County or adjoining counties (Cuyahoga, Medina, Portage, Stark and Wayne). Priority is given to Summit County organizations. The Foundation does not fund individuals, national organizations or hospitals.
DEADLINE: Applications must be received by February 1, May 1, August 1 or November 1 to be considered during the corresponding Board Meeting.

The Nordson Corporation Foundation (Lorain County)
SUMMARY: The Nordson Corporation makes grants in a variety of areas, with priorities driven by the needs of the community. The Foundation pursues and supports results-oriented opportunities that prepare individuals for full and equal participation in the economic and social mainstream. Particular focus is given to the areas of education, human welfare, and arts & culture.
ELIGIBILITY: Faith-based and community organizations having a 501(c)(3) status and operating within Lorain County, Ohio are eligible to apply.
DEADLINE: February 15, May 15, August 15 and November 15.

The Raymond John Wean Foundation (Mahoning and Trumbull Counties)
SUMMARY: The Raymond John Wean Foundation enhances community well-being and vitality in the Mahoning Valley, particularly in the areas of Early Childhood Care & Education and Neighborhood Success Grants.
ELIGIBILITY: The Raymond John Wean Foundation welcomes grant requests from non-profit organizations providing services to the residents of Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.

Reinberger Foundation (Columbus and Northeast Ohio)
SUMMARY: The Reinberger Foundation is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals from all walks of life. To achieve this goal, proposals in the areas of the arts, education, healthcare, and social service are favored.
ELIGIBILITY: Preferential consideration is given to organizations serving Northeast Ohio, or the greater Columbus area.
