Please note that the Internship Program is accepting applicants on a rolling basis.
The Governor’s Internship Program reaches out to motivated and qualified students who seek to gain knowledge relating to public service and leadership. The program is designed for college students either from Ohio, or who go to school in Ohio who wish to gain experience in state government and give back to their State.
Applicants to the Governor’s Internship Program must be either an Ohio resident attending an accredited college or university in or outside of Ohio, or an attendee of an accredited college or university within Ohio’s borders, regardless of place of origin.
Applicants must be willing to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week during the school year or 20 hours per week during the summer of Program-related work over the course of the internship session.
At this time, all internships run through the Governor’s Office are based in Columbus Ohio. All applicants should be able to be in Columbus for the allotted time of their internship.
