Ohio Benefit Bank Forums

Sharing the Load

There are thousands of Ohio citizens unaware of the valuable resources available to them during these challenging economic times. Over the past year, many have suffered from a variety of financial and socioeconomic burdens due to job loss, family stress, mortgage foreclosure, and hunger. These circumstances have left them with feelings of hopelessness, depression, and loneliness. Those most severely affected by the devastation are within minority communities throughout the state. These forums will overview the programs, trainings, and services that will support the minority community and benefit individuals and families. Each forum will provide additional information as to how these opportunities can assist and how to gain access.

Governor Strickland, The Ohio Benefit Bank, the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Intitiatives, the Governor's Office on Closing the Achievement Gap, and Ohio Legislative Black Caucus invite you to participate in a regional forum near you.

All forums will be from 9 am - 11:30 am and r
egistration is required for these events.
