COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the appointment of Adolfo A. Tornichio of Beavercreek (Greene Co.) to serve as a judge on the Greene County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division. Tornichio will assume office on October 1, 2015 and must run in November 2016 to retain the seat for the remainder of the unexpired term, which ends December 31, 2018. Tornichio is replacing Judge Robert W. Hutcheson, who retired.
Tornichio received his bachelor of science degree from Wright State University and his juris doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law. His experience includes serving as assistant attorney for the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office, prosecuting attorney for the Village of Waynesville Mayor’s Court and numerous years of private practice work.
He also has served as a commissioner on the Ohio Supreme Court Board of Character and Fitness.
