Kasich Signs Six Bills February 8, 2018 COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich signed the following bill into law: H.B. 252 (S. Huffman) designates the month of January as "Blood Donor Awareness Month." Am. H.B. 165 (Gonzales, Conditt) designates June as "Congenital Cytomegalovirus Awareness Month." Am. H.B. 362 (Carfagna, Ramos) revises the law governing the State Highway Patrol Retirement System. Am. H.B. 52 (Rezabek) regulates the solicitation of certain deeds. Sub. H.B. 145 (S. Huffman, Sprague) provides for the establishment of a confidential program for the treatment of impaired practitioners regulated by the State Medical Board, modifies the laws governing the Board's regulation of dietitians and respiratory care professionals, makes other changes in the laws administered by the Board, provides that the General Assembly's authorization is needed before long-term care services are further included in the Medicaid managed care system, and declares an emergency. Sub. S.B. 70 (Coley) amends the child support laws.
