Kasich Announces Appointment to First District Court of Appeals

COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the appointment of Charles M. Miller of Cincinnati (Hamilton Co.) to serve as a judge on the First District Court of Appeals. Miller will assume office on February 28, 2017. He must run in November 2018 to retain the seat for the full term commencing February 9, 2019.  Miller is replacing Judge Patrick F. Fischer who has been elected to the Ohio Supreme Court.

Miller received his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from Boston University. He has been a partner at Keating Muething and Klekamp since 2005 and has counseled many cases that appeared before the Supreme Court of Ohio. Miller is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association and a board member of Mount Auburn International Academy.
