Kasich Announces Appointment to Middletown Municipal Court

COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the appointment of Melynda Cook Howard of Middletown (Butler Co.) to serve as a judge on the Middletown Municipal Court. Howard will assume the bench on June 19, 2017. She must run in November 2017 to retain the seat for the unexpired term ending December 31, 2019. Howard is replacing Judge Mark Wall who passed away.

Howard received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and her law degree from University of Cincinnati. She is currently a partner at Repper, Pagan, Cook Ltd. Howard is a member of the Middletown Municipal Court, Butler County Bar Association, Mid-Miami Valley Bar Association and the Butler County Law Library Resources Board.
